Jan, 2023 - Opportunities in Entrepreneurship & start up in the handicraft sector

This was held on 4th January between 3-5 p.m.at the L&P Huthesingh Visual Art Centre at Navrangpura.

This event was a thematic exhibition cum sale of Indian Handicraft products.

The event was conceptualised, curated and executed by Chintan Oza in association with the Ministry of textile and artisans too.

It was an exceptional event where there were speakers like Palak Patel (Architect and Handicrafts supporter),Debopriya Chakraborty (Head of Incubation and entrepreneurship cell of LJ University)and last but not the least Rinky Gautam (NIFTdesigner and budding entrepreneur in handicraft sector) .

Objective-To create a platform for all artisans and revive art forms that are dying by creating active selling platforms and helping them developing entrepreneurial skills

Takeaway -This exhibition helped create awareness within the artisans on how they could expand their horizons by increasing their global presence in the field of Indian handicrafts worldwide.
