With each new edition, the JYEP community has grown more vibrant, entrepreneurial, and impactful. The first-ever JYEP Alumni Retreat was hosted from October 6th-9th, 2022 in Rishikesh aimed at reconnecting US hosts & Indian participants over social, professional, and spiritual activities in Rishikesh.

It’s been 7 years since the youths had first embarked on a journey together to discover themselves. Along the way, they entered lifelong bonds of friendships and mentorships with strangers halfway across the world. With each new edition, the JYEP community has grown more vibrant, entrepreneurial and impactful. They experienced another trip, but with all of them together!

JITO Ahmedabad was thrilled to unite the JYEP alumni family including the dynamic hosts from the US and the participants from all editions in Rishikesh this year. Over a four-day retreat, they had the opportunity to meet all the beautiful souls associated with this program and to reflect upon how they have evolved as individuals since their first participation. 

Rishikesh is famed to be the Adventure capital of India. Hitting along the streams in river Ganges, paddling against the rapids and the gushy humid winds subdues a spark in every adventure enthusiast. River rafting in Rishikesh tops the bucket list of every adventure sports enthusiast.

They explored different trekking trails and felt up close with nature and also  released endorphins with an hour of cycling in the hills. Breathing in plenty of fresh air and soaking into the magic of mountains was an amazing experience for all. 

At night, they experienced seating by the bonfire and soaking in a breathtaking view of millions of shimmering stars and the moon at night.

• Invitations extended to JYEP Alumni from 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, as well as the chosen group for JYEP 2020 that couldn't go to the US
• Sponsored-invitations extended to all US host families.
